DAHI BHALLA CHAT/DHAI RECIPE/ HOW TO MAKE DAHI BHALLE AT HOME

                  DAHI BHALLE RECIPE

 Dahi Bhalla is a very common and popular snack dish in Pakistan. It is usually offered at henna parties in Pakistan and is usually made at home during the month of Ramadan.


Ingredients for Dehi bhalla

For bhalla:

  • lentils 1 cup
  • Peanut butter 1/2 cup
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Ginger 1 small piece
  • 1 piece of crushed red pepper
  • Cumin 1/2 number
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch of baking soda.
  • Oil as needed
For yogurt:
  • Yogurt 1 kg
  • 1/2. teaspoon salt
  • Pepper 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Crushed cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 piece of crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Lick masala as required
  • Yogurt is a good spice as needed

For Yogurt Bhalla Masala:

  • 1/2 cup roasted whole red chillies
  • White cumin 2 tablespoons
  • 2 tablespoons whole coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt

METHOD(How to make):

For bhalla: 

1. Wash lentils and peanuts and soak for 4 hours.
2. Add garlic, ginger, red pepper, cumin and 3. salt and blend.
4. Then add baking soda and mix well.
5. Now heat oil in a pan and make small lentil balls and fry.
6. When it becomes light brown, take it out and put it in salted tap water.
7. When it is soft, take it out and squeeze the water out of the palm.

For yogurt: 

8. In a bowl, add yogurt, salt, pepper, cumin, sugar and red pepper and mix well.

9. Then take out 1 cup of yogurt, add milk and mix well.
10. Then add the fried bhalla to the curd and add the rest of the curd.
11. Then sprinkle Chaat Masala and Dahi Bhalla Masala and serve hot or cold.

For Yogurt Bhalla Masala:

12. Put all the ingredients in a grinder and grind well.
