SHEER KHORMA EASY RECIPE

                         SHEER KHORMA 


INGREDIENTS

* 2 tablespoons ghee 30 ml

* 10-15 cashews are broken.

* 10-12 chopped almonds.

* 10-12 pistachios chopped.

* 10-15 golden raisins

* Cut 6-7 large palms or use 10 small palms.

* 1 cup broken vermicelli

* 1/2 cup crushed mawa optional

* 1 liter whole milk

* 4 tablespoons sugar or to taste

* 1.5 teaspoon rose water

* 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder


RECIPE OF SHEER KHORMA:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. When hot, add chopped nuts, raisins and dates to the pan.
  2. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the nuts are fragrant and golden brown. The raisins will thicken. Remove the nuts from the pan and set aside.
  3. Now put the vermicelli in the same pan and mix well.
  4. Fry the apples for about 3 minutes until they turn light golden brown.
  5. Now add khoya / mawa and fry for another 1-2 minutes. This step is optional, you can skip it.
  6. Then add milk to the pan and stir. Turn the heat to medium and let the milk boil. Stir frequently in the middle so that the vermicelli does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
  7. Once the milk has boiled, reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 8 minutes.
  8. After 8 minutes, the milk will be reduced and slightly thickened, then add sugar and mix.
  9. Transfer the fried nuts back to the pan and mix.
  10. Also add rose liqueur and cardamom powder and mix.
  11. Cook over medium heat for another 2-3 minutes and then turn off the heat.
  12. Serve hot or cold with dates.
