RED CHILLI SAUCE EASY RECIPE AT HOME

                  RED CHILLI SAUCE

Make a very simple homemade chili sauce at home with just 4 ingredients, a few minutes, and lots of ways to customize! This red pepper sauce is perfect for spreading on sandwiches, raps, burgers, etc.! Can be made vegan, sugar free, gluten free, and oil free!

For anyone who wants to add a little extra spice to their diet, chili is the way to go. Whether you're using chili oil, chili flakes, chili paste, or this simple homemade chili sauce (aka red pepper sauce), there are plenty of ways to embrace the heat!

Choose a variety of 1 pound red peppers based on the heat level of your choice (check note)

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar I used apple cider vinegar.
  • Use only a pinch (optional) of granular (raw, brown, etc.), natural syrup (maple, honey), or sugar-free, such as erythritol / swerve, for flavopr.

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the pepper.

  • First, wash the peppers, pat dry with a little paper towel.
  • After that, cut the stems (green tops). It is best to wear gloves and avoid touching your face when dealing with peppers!
  • Next, cut the peppers, keeping the seeds. You do not want to be frustrated if you cannot get the right pitch so invest in a good capo.

Step 2: Blend the red pepper sauce.

  • Put the pepper and the rest of the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend into the sauce.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Then, transfer the sauce to a sterile jar and enjoy it immediately or store it in the refrigerator for long-term storage.
  • Optionally, you can lower the sauce on a hob to thicken it a bit. Read the prescription notes to learn more about it.
  • Storage method
  • Keep homemade chili sauce in a glass jar (with plastic stains) in the refrigerator for 1 month and in the freezer for 4 months.
  • If it starts to taste sour or loose in any way (or has physical signs of mold), discard it.
  • Also, you can bathe this hot chili sauce in hot water (and then refrigerate it for months) - however, it depends on its pH balance and the right method to use. If you want to do this, it is best to consult a reputable source regarding canning items.
