How to make vegitable pasta_vegetable macaroni recipe

 VEGETABLE PASTA __ MACRONI RECIPE

Macaroni is a type of pasta and is used to make a variety of pasta recipes. In fact, macaroni can be converted into many recipes that require other types of pasta such as penny, fossil, regatoni, etc.

Macaroni Pasta Onion is made with tomato spice and therefore the taste of tomatoes is felt in the recipe of macaroni. This recipe is not spicy and thus suitable for children, but you can make it spicy by increasing the amount of red chilli powder, black pepper powder and hot spice powder.

INGRIDENTS:

To cook macaroni

  • 1 piled cup macaroni or elbow macaroni or 125 grams macaroni
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups of water

Other ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil (can use sunflower oil or olive oil)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon chopped garlic or finely chopped garlic or 3 to 4 cloves of garlic cloves, finely chopped or finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion or 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tightly packed finely chopped tomatoes or 3 medium tomatoes or 180 grams of tomatoes
  • 1.25 to 1.5 cups of chopped mixed vegetables like carrots, green beans, cabbage, capsicum, baby corn, potatoes etc.
  • ¼ Cup green peas - fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 Teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4  Teaspoon hot spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder 
  • Half a teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon mixed dry herbs - basil, thyme, oregano, parsley etc.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander for garnish

HOW TO MAKE PASTA(MACRONI)

A) Bake macaroni

1. Heat 3 cups water and 2 teaspoons salt in a pan. Bring to a boil.

2. Add 1 heap cup macaroni or abo macaroni (125 grams elbow macaroni).

3. Shake with a fork.

4. Start cooking the macaroni over medium to high heat.

5. Cook the macaroni until they are all tender - that is, they should be lightly chopped.

6. Drain all the water and set aside the cooked macaroni.



B) Cooking vegetables

7. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Reduce the flame. * Add a teaspoon of chopped garlic or finely chopped garlic or 3 to 4 small cloves of garlic, finely chopped or finely chopped. You can also add half a teaspoon of ginger garlic paste instead.

8. Fry the garlic till it becomes light brown or until its raw aroma disappears.

9. Then add 2 cups finely chopped onion (about 1 medium size onion, finely chopped)

10. Mix well. Start frying on medium heat, stirring frequently.

11. Fry onion till translucent.

12. Then add 1 cup tightly packed finely chopped tomatoes.

13. Mix well.

14. Cover the pan with a lid. Check when cooking tomatoes in the middle.

15. Cook the tomatoes over a low to medium heat until they become soft and pulpy.

16. Now add all the spice powder one by one - 2 teaspoons black pepper powder, 2 teaspoons turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons hot spice powder, 2 teaspoons Kashmiri red chilli powder, 2 teaspoons coriander powder and * Teaspoon cumin powder.

17. Mix the spice powder and fry for a few seconds until you get a nice aroma from the spice powder.

18. Now add 1.25 to 1.5 cups of mixed vegetables. Add 2 cups of green peas. You can add vegetables like carrots, green beans, cabbage, capsicum, baby corn, broccoli, potatoes etc. Add vegetables of your choice. I added baby corn, carrots, green beans, potatoes, capsicum and green peas.

19. Add salt to taste.

20. Mix very well.

21. Add 1 cup water.

22. Mix again.

23. Cover the pan with a lid.

24. Cook vegetables over low to medium heat till cooked. Check in between and if the water is low you can add more water.

25. Once the vegetables are cooked and soft, add cooked macaroni. When you add pasta, there will be some gravy or curry or sauce.

26. Mix well.

27. Boil a few more minutes over low to medium heat until all the water is absorbed. Shake intermittently.

28. Finally add 1 teaspoon of mixed dry herbs - basil, theme, oregano, parsley. You can also add your favorite dried herbs or Italian herbs or Italian spices or fresh herbs.

29. Mix again. Check the herbs and add more salt or herbs if needed



.

30. Serve macaroni  hot or hot. You can top with some grated cheddar or vegetable perm cheese or cream before serving. Before serving, garnish the pasta with some finely chopped coriander leaves or parsley or any fresh herb of your choice. You can even sprinkle some chili flakes on the macaroni  before eating.
