EASY RASSIAN SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients of Russian salad
- 300 grams of chicken
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup peas
- 2 medium sliced carrots
- 10 chopped green beans
- 1/2 Medium Cubed Capsicum (Green Pepper)
- 100 grams chopped pineapple
- Salt as needed
- Pepper as required
For toppings
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Spread 1 tablespoon cheese.
How to make Russian salad
Step 1: Wash and boil the chicken.
Wash the chicken thoroughly and remove the excess water. Then boil it in a pressure cooker with half a cup of water and half a teaspoon of salt.
Step 2: Prepare the chicken.
Pressurize for 1 whistle and simmer on low heat for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the flame. When cool, remove the flesh from the bones and cut into small pieces. Put the pieces in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 tablespoon oil. Set aside for 15 minutes.
Step 3: Boil the vegetables.
Boil half a teaspoon of salt in 2 cups of water. Add peas, beans and carrots and boil for another 1 minute. Remove from the flame and strain. Add cold water and filter again. Put the vegetables aside. Mix mayonnaise, cream, cheese spread, salt and pepper. Mix well. If you are using canned, squeeze the pineapple pieces well to extract the extra juice. Finely chop them.
Step 4: Assemble the ingredients.
Add chopped chicken. If you are a vegetarian, you can take turns using boiled potatoes or cheese instead. Then add the chopped pineapple and all the vegetables to the mayonnaise. Mix well. Taste and adjust herbs if needed. Add more pepper if you want to add spice. Set aside until serving time.
Step 5: Serve the salad.
