Ingredients of date pudding

  • 8 servings
  • 1/2 cup cracked almonds
  • 8 cups milk
  • 2 cups black palm
  • 1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
  • 1/2 cup pistachios
  • 1/2 cup rice

How to make date pudding

Step 1

To get started, wash the rice and soak it in fresh water for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, take a cupping board and cut the dates, pistachio pieces and dates.

Step 2

Place a pan over medium heat and mix rice, dates and milk in the pan. Cook the rice for 10-15 minutes or until soft.

Step 3

Put almond flakes and chopped pistachios in the pan. Mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.

Step 4

Now add cardamom powder in kheer and mix well. Turn off the heat and let the pudding cool. Garnish with almond flakes and pistachios and serve. You can keep the pudding in the fridge for 1 hour and serve it cold.
