HOW TO MAKE EASY SHAHI TOKRAY AT HOME

As the name suggests, the royal piece is a Mughal dessert. The Mughals liked to eat it at Iftar. Some say the dish originated with Umm Ali, an Egyptian dessert. It is also made by soaking bread crumbs in milk and nuts.



Ingredients

  1.   6 pieces of bread
  2.  1 liter of milk
  3.  1 cup sugar
  4.  Green cardamom 6
  5.  Almonds 20
  6.  Slightly yellow food color
  7.  Lost (without sweet) 250 grams
  8.  Pistachios 10-15
  9.  Oil as needed
  10.  Silver leaf for garnishing

methods

  1. Soak 10-15 pistachios and 20 almonds in water.
  2. Peel a squash, grate it and chop finely.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry 6 bread slices until golden.
  4. When the pan cools down, remove the oil, add 6 green cardamoms in 1 liter of milk and cook for a while.
  5. As the milk thickens, add 2-3 bread slices, half a cup of sugar and a pinch of yellow food coloring.
  6. When the bread crumbs have completely absorbed the milk from the pan, remove them, repeat the process with the remaining slices.
  7. Add remaining milk and sprinkle almonds and pistachios on the dish.
  8. Add 250 grams of unsweetened to the dish.
  9. Finally garnish it with silver foil.
  10. Now, serve it.
