Potato fritters or crispy potato fritters is another delicious breakfast recipe that serves well for your dinner tea. These potato fritters are always a favourite at home and they are not difficult to make at all. Fritters always come out as a great breakfast that we really enjoy drinking, especially in winter. Follow this easy recipe step by step.

INGREDIENTS

  • Lentils (Basins) -2 cups
  • Corn flour-1 tsp (for crispy)
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • water - 150 ml (for making batter)
  • oil for deep frying 
  • vegetables (potatoes and onions)
  • chopped green pepper
  • chutney, to serve 

HOW TO MAKE

Preparation Of Basin Paste:
  1. In a bowl, mix together gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala powder, baking powder and all the ingredients.
  2. Now slowley add water and make a thick paste.
  3. Beat the mixture for a few minutes until you get a smooth texture.
  4. Cover the bowl for 30 minutes to set.


  Vegetable chopping:

  1. Cut the onion into rings and pieces.
  2. In the same way cut potato pieces, and fingers.
  3. To make potato slices pakoda, first deep the pieces in a thick paste of gram flour (basin) and coat it well.

  4. Now dip the slices in hot oil and deep fry well.
  5. As soon as the potato pieces turn golden brown, take them out on kitchen pepper.



Sreving:
Serve these crispy and appetizing potato dumplings hot with green coriander sauce, tomato sauce ao any sauce of your choice. enjoy!

Suggestions:
If you dont mind eating oil, you can add a pinch of baking soda to the batter. this way the fritters will become more crispy. you can also add 2 tablespoons of rice flour to make it more crispy.
