CLASSIC BURGERS_SPICY BEEF BURGERS

       SPICY BURGER_LEARN TO MAKE 


Immerse your teeth in the style of a delicious restaurant, a hamburger made from lean meat. Skip the pre-packaged patties and take the extra time to prepare yourself, and this little extra effort will be worth it. To make a cheeseburger, about 1 minute before the burger is made, with the sliced cheese on top; Continue to cook until the cheese starts to melt.

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped.
  • 500 grams of good quality beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • All or any of the following to serve: chopped tomatoes, beets, horseradish sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup, a handful of iceberg lettuce, rocket, watercress

Method

Step 1

Tip 500 grams of beef in a bowl with 1 small chopped onion and 1 egg, then mix.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into four parts. Wet your hands lightly. Carefully roll the mixture into balls, each about the size of a tennis ball.

Step 3

Place in the palm of your hand and gently squeeze downwards to flatten into 3 cm thick patties. Make sure all burgers are the same thickness so that they are cooked evenly.

Step 4

Place on a plate, cover with cling film and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 5

Heat the barbecue to medium heat (red hot coals will have white ash - about 40 minutes after lighting). Gently brush one side of each burger with vegetable oil.

Step 6

Place the burger, oil side down, on the barbecue. Cook for 5 minutes until the meat is lightly browned. Do not move them around or they may stick.

Step 7

Apply oil on the other side, then invert using pliers. Do not press down on the meat, as it will drain the juice.

Step 8

Cook for another 5 minutes over medium heat. If you like your burger pink in the middle, cook 1 minute less on each side. To do well, cook 1 more minute.

Step 9

Take the burger off the barbecue. Leave to rest on a plate so that all the juices accumulate inside.

Step 10

Cut four burger bunnies in half. On a barbecue rack, place the cut side down and toast for 1 minute until lightly browned. Place a burger inside each bun, then place it on top as you like.
