CHICKEN MAYO BREAD BALL RECIPE

          *CHICKEN MAYO BREAD BALL*

These Chicken Mayo Bread Balls are one of my favorite breakfast or appetizer recipes that can be easily made at home. After trying this recipe, you will never come back to processed chicken cheese balls. Here is a very simple recipe that has been tried and tested many times at home.

I have deep fried them but if you are health conscious then air fry or bake them.

INGREDIENTS

To fill the chicken

  • 4-5 boneless chicken boiled and chopped.
  • 1 small - capsicum yellow and green julienne
  • 1 tablespoon - pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon - Red Chili Flax Plain
  • 2 tablespoons - mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 cup - bread crumbs for coating (optional) or powdered biscuits.
  • 8 - Pieces of bread
  • Water for soaking bread

Potatoes for masala filling

  • 4-5 Medium - Boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 cup - frozen green peas
  • 1 tablespoon - crushed ginger
  • 1 tablespoon crushed garlic.
  • 3 chopped green chillies
  • 3 tablespoons - chopped cashews
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon - turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon hot spices
  • 1 tablespoon - Kashmiri Red Chili Powder

INSTRUCTIONS

For potato masala:

  1. Take boiled potatoes and mash them with a mixer. You can drop them if you want.
  2. Put 4 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Now add ginger, garlic and chopped green chillies.
  4. Fry on medium heat for one minute till the roughness disappears.
  5. Now add frozen green peas and fry on medium heat for one minute.
  6. Now add turmeric powder and Kashmiri red chilli powder and mix on low heat so that the spice does not burn. Fry for a minute.
  7. Add chopped cashews and fry for one minute.
  8. Now add mashed potatoes and fry on medium heat for 5 minutes. Mix everything very well.
  9. Add hot spices. Add salt to taste. Mix everything well and cook the stuffing on low heat. Ready to take out the stuffing and cool.

For Chicken Mayo Bread Balls:

  1. Take the steamed chicken and cut it with a fork and knife. Add Potato Spice (Please see the recipe above)
  2. Add yellow and / or green capsicum (whatever is available in your fridge) and chop into julienne.
  3. Sprinkle with pepper powder and red chilli powder.
  4. Add mayonnaise and salt as needed. Mix everything well.
  5. The chicken stuffing is ready.
  6. Now take a slice of bread (cut all the edges) and soak it in water for 2 seconds, take it out and press it lightly. Squeeze out the excess water.
  7. Put 1 tablespoon chicken stuffing in the middle of the bread. Gently seal all the edges and shape into balls.
  8. Coat the bread balls with bread crumbs (optional) on all sides and set aside. Prepare all the bread balls in this way.
  9. Heat oil over medium heat for deep frying. After 3 minutes, when the oil is medium hot, carefully add the bread balls one by one. Fry until golden brown.
